ENVIRO - Natures Center Recycles

DONATE USED CELL PHONES AND INK JET CARTRIDGES
TO OGDEN NATURE CENTER FOR FUND RAISER
IN AN EFFORT TO RECYCLE WASTE

Ogden Nature Center believes in reusing the resources we’ve been given. In an effort not only to raise much needed funds for computer and recreational equipment they are accepting donations of used ink jet cartridges and old cell phones. They are partnering with a national non-profit organization to recycle these items earning points for exchange for the items needed. This equipment will be used to support their educational programs that serve over 16,000 students annually, as well as their summer camp and community and bird rehabilitation programs. Last year 30 million cell phones were replaced with new ones and 300 million print cartridges were thrown away. All of this going to our landfills. Well now you can help the environment by donating these items that we all go through on a regular basis. There are many ways to contribute. Bring in your personal phone or cartridges from home office equipment or encourage those who have received new cell phones during the holidays to donate their old ones. Help can also be solicited from your place of employment. Laser and inkjet cartridges found in printers, fax machines and desktop copiers can be recycled. Corporations can also support Ogden Nature Center by donating old company cell phones. Limited pickup is available to businesses for multiple items only. Ogden Nature center believes in reusing the resources we’ve been given.
